Illinois Premiere of (E)Merging Dances

The Northwestern University Symphony Orchestra will perform the Illinois Premiere of Liza's (E)Merging Dances, which was originally premiered at Carnegie Hall in 2022. The program continues with Stravinsky's Petrushka—the colorful, Russian folk music-inspired ballet detailing the loves and jealousies of three puppets. Concluding the program is Beethoven's Symphony No. 7.

Liza performs in Chicago Soundings

Liza will sing Natasha Bogojevich's Kyrie and the titular aria from Liza's opera, I DID, DID I? as part of Chicago Soundings' fall concert. In addition, the concert features music by Cornelius Cardew, Hughes Dufourt, George Flynn, Joanie Pallatto, Bradley Parker Sparrow, Hugh Schrapnel and Thomas Winthrop Stevens.
